May Meeting Notice

From Bob Curry:

It is a sad week for old time Playwrights Ink people who knew Amy Azen over the years. Twenty-three years ago she called me and a few others to form a playwrights’ reading group to meet every month. Our first meeting was at Ray and Starr’s house. I brought the play and Sam and Celia read it. Playwrights Ink was off and running. Any died last week, but her generosity and vision remain alive in our group. She was a fine playwright, entertaining and even a bit saucy, as well as a poet and always complimented a playwright’s language first. Our sympathies to her husband Ed, who graciously drove her to our meetings when Amy stopped driving her big Oldsmobile, and her children. We’ll all miss her.
